Datiles Casedo and Associates, CPAs Co. (DCA, CPAs Co.), hereinafter referred to as “The Firm,” was established on March 2006 by its named partners, Marie Sidney S. Datiles, “Sid” and Franklin R. Casedo, “Frank” as a general professional partnership in the Philippines.
After having gained meaningful experience in the public practice of Accountancy at Carlos J. Valdes and Associates, CPAs, (CJVA), Sid and Frank used these experiences during their stints as Finance Officer and Accounting Supervisor, respectively, of privately held businesses. However, amidst the stability and security brought by a regular paying job, their desire to venture to the public practice of Accountancy has never dwindled. In 2006, DCA was formed, with the two partners acting as bookkeepers, collection agent and liaison officer at the same time.
Clients were sourced by DCA through referrals of existing clients, family or colleagues. It was also in 2006 where the partners have decided to hire one (1) liaison officer, and three (3) accounting staff. DCA’s first office was situated in a residential area at 288 Private E. Reyes, Brgy. New Zaniga, Mandaluyong City, with one (1) desktop computer, one (1) laptop, and a table.
As DCA’s clients believe in its untiring commitment to deliver personalized services, its clientele grew substantially. DCA thereafter, started to offer services that added value and complemented its accounting services. DCA thereafter offered tax compliance services, payroll services, management consultancy and business registration and renewal. On June 2015, DCA transferred its office at No 3, Prudentialife Building, EDSA, Mandaluyong City, in order to serve its clients better and to accommodate its increasing headcount.
Over the years, DCA has assisted its clients, whose profiles range from single proprietorships to corporations, from non-stock, non-profit organizations to profit-oriented enterprises, from service to manufacturing industries and from north to south of Manila, in their requirements in Accounting, Audit, Taxation, Payroll, Business Registration and Renewal, and Management Consultancy. DCA has also opened doors for Accounting graduates and newly-passed CPAs who share the same passion in public practice.
At present, DCA is composed of 25 young and talented professionals divided in five (5) departments: namely, Accounting, Audit, Tax, Administrative and Executive Department. DCA is now located at No. 3, Jaime Cardinal Sin Street, Barangay Pleasant Hills, Mandaluyong City.
DCA is now a Member Firm of JHI, one of the most vibrant and longest-established associations of independent accounting, tax and business advisory services in 155 locations in 46 countries. With the admission of DCA as one of its member-firms in the Asia Pacific Region, this will definitely benefit our clients in providing quality services. This affiliation will also enable us to have access on worldwide network of accounting firms allowing us to be exposed to the best accounting practices not just in the Asia Pacific region but in the key countries of the world.

DCA, including its partners, is accredited by the Board of Accountancy, by the Bureau of Internal Revenue, by the Cooperative Development Authority, and by the Securities and Exchange Commission as external auditors for companies under Group C.
